Brayden Klassen will be Team Yukon's Red Lantern torch bearer at the upcoming Canada Games Opening Ceremonies.
Treveor Twardochleb - Team Yukon's Chef de Mission - made the announcement this afternoon to Brayden and other Yukon team members.
Brayden has always been a great ambassador for sport. He has incredible commitment to whatever he takes on and always strives for the best. He is well respected by his peers and has always been a leader on and off the court and ice.
Brayden has competed with Team Yukon at the Western Canada Games, Nationals for both basketball and curling and Arctic Winter Games where his team earned gold! He also received a silver medal with his mixed-doubles partner at the AWG.
